Want to be in the Know?
Buford Middle School will conduct a Scoliosis screening program to identify students with signs of abnormal curvature of the spine. It is known that two out of every 100 may have scoliosis. If this condition is detected early and appropriately treated, progressive spine deformity can usually be prevented.
If you do not want your child to be screened, please complete the requested information in the permission letter [English] [Spanish] and return it to the school on or before Friday, January 23, 2015. Please note, there is no need to return this form if you want your child to be screened (only if you do not want them screened). Paper copies of this letter are being sent home with students on Tuesday, Jan 20.

If you do not have a current Buford City Schools physical form on file with BMS, please try to get one completed before the meeting on January 21.
