Supervision of students begins at 7:00 a.m. Students coming into the building before 7:15 may go to the cafeteria for breakfast or go directly to their first-period class. Students are counted tardy after 7:30 a.m. The dismissal process begins at 2:40.
Yes, students can pay for their lockers and agendas on MyPaymentsPlus or at the beginning of the school year. The combined fees for both are $25. Students may purchase replacement agendas in the media center.
Bottles - All bottles (including cups with lids) must be clear plastic and may only contain clear liquids.

Book Bags and Lunch Boxes - Students may use a clear book bag to carry supplies throughout the day. Mesh and opaque bags may not be carried throughout the day. Additionally, students may not cover their clear bags with stickers or decorations undermining the goal of a clear bag. Lunch boxes do not need to be clear.

Additional Bags - Students needing to bring additional bags for athletic purposes or school projects must store the bags in their lockers immediately when they enter the building. First-period teachers and coaches cannot store bags in their classrooms.

Regardless of bag styles or use, students are still expected to abide by BMS expectations for personal devices. Devices should be turned off and placed in student lockers when entering the school building. Devices should remain in student lockers for the entire day. Cell phones, music devices, cameras, and other communication devices shall not be seen, used, or heard in the school building or at car rider unless directed by the teacher.
Coats in the winter are encouraged; however, they will be kept in the student’s locker during the school day. We encourage students to have a sweatshirt for cooler rooms. Please refer to the dress code for acceptable sweatshirts.
Yes, students are allowed to bring cell phones to school. Per our agenda, "Cell phones, music devices, cameras, and other communication devices shall not be seen, used, or heard in the school building or at car rider unless directed by the teacher. Watches may not be used as communication devices or notification devices." Devices should be turned off and placed in book bags before entering the school building. Devices should remain in student lockers for the entire day unless directed by a teacher for a specific period. Devices may be retrieved from their lockers at the end of the day and turned on once the student is on the bus or in the car leaving campus. If a phone is taken up due to non-instructional use, students will receive discipline consequences and a parent must make arrangements to pick up the phone before or after school. Office hours are from 7:00 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Parents are discouraged from bringing items such as lunches or projects to school. Office personnel will not interrupt instructional time to deliver items to students.
You may call the front office, however, please be aware that we do NOT call students from class to speak to a parent on the phone or give students messages unless it is a dire emergency.
To make transportation changes, parents/guardians must
  • come by the school in person; or
  • send a written note with a contact number included; or
  • send an email to our front office staff before 2:15 p.m.

Please ensure your child knows how he/she is getting home from school.
To avoid interruption and the loss of instructional time, checking out from school should be limited. If a parent wishes to check a child out before dismissal, the parent must come to the office to sign the student out. Anyone checking out a student must be named as a contact on the Student Information Sheet or in PowerSchool as well as provide picture identification. Please note: No checkouts are allowed after 2:15 p.m.
Please contact the teacher directly. You may email all employees using the same format [email protected] or access our staff directory.
