FBLA - Future Business Leaders of America

First Meeting
Where: Mrs. Lecoeuvre's room
Who: Anyone interested in learning more about the business world.
When: 2:45-3:45 p.m.
2022-23 1st Semester Dates of Meetings: ​TBA
Special Notes:
  • Students should stay in their last period class until after-school activities are called.
  • Families may pick up students participating in FBLA in the front of the building under the portico​ promptly at 3:45 p.m. If students' rides are late they will be sent to Wolfpack for a charge of $50.00.​
What is FBLA?
For those of you who want to join our awesome organization, we welcome you and hope you will become a member of our FBLA family. Future Business Leaders of America is the largest student organization in the world with Georgia having the largest state chapter in the nation. Our local chapter started 6 years ago. Our members have completed many service projects here at BMS, participated in numerous community service projects, competed in region and state competitions, and traveled all over the state of Georgia learning more about business, leadership, and service. We hope that you will join us as we continue this tradition of excellence.
Our chapter provides many opportunities to complete service hours through school and community service projects. We try to complete at least one service project every other month and these usually take place before or after school. We usually meet Once or twice a month on Thursdays from 3-4 in my classroom

Membership Fees:
  • Dues are $20 per member along with an additional cost for conference fees.
  • There is an additional $10 fee if you want a FBLA T-shirt.
  • Throughout the year we go on Field Trips and there may be additional costs.

Students may not stay for any meeting without having necessary prescribed medications on hand in the clinic.*

We agree to meet the student in the designated area and time to provide transportation home. Students not picked up by the designated time will go to Wolfpack and be charged the weekly rate.*

We agree to register the student for Wolfpack before attending the first meeting. This requirement applies even if students do not stay for Wolfpack on a regular basis. All club members, including regular Wolfpack attendees, must submit a copy of this form to the sponsor before the first meeting the student attends. *
