Where: Mrs. Simmons' room (Room 100)
Who: All Buford Middle School students are invited to join.
What: DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
DECA meetings will be held once a month from 2:45-3:45 in Mrs. Simmons’ room. Through DECA, students will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned in class to a real-world setting. Throughout the year, there will be opportunities through DECA to attend leadership conferences, participate in community service, sharpen employability skills, become career ready, and participate in DECA competitions at the regional level. DECA is an internationally recognized association, and BMS DECA is a great way to learn about DECA before joining DECA at BHS.
How: Students can join by paying the $35.00 membership fee on My Payments Plus. Club dues include state and national registration, snacks at meetings, and a club t-shirt!

Special Notes:
- Students MUST have a wolfpack form filled out and on file. The link to the wolfpack website is HERE. Students will be unable to participate in DECA until this form is filled out. If students' rides are late they will be sent to Wolfpack and charged the weekly rate.
- Families may pick up students participating in DECA in the front of the building under the portico promptly at3:45 p.m.
